Yes! We did it! Our video about our EVS adventures! Hope you will enjoy! First day, first meeting, first impressions and good start of the year! To be honest we were a little bet worried about what we could expect and so on. But we couldn`t imagine how all pupils and teachers are friendly, open-minded and easy going. But what was super impressed by how pupils respect each other. Seems that there age differences don`t exist. They are like big family, all brothers and sisters with teachers like parents. WOW! And yes! Playing with them foodball was awesome! Hope we will have ability to do it again! We also were walking aroung Kumlinge! Really beautifull nature and a lot of mushrooms in the forest. Perfect! That was great! We are looking forward to meeting you guys again soon! WOW! Almost full stadium. A lot of emotions, adrenaline and so on! We discovered inhabitants open minding and integrating deal with different person. All people had fun during this match! Amazing firework show! It was great! Furthermore, they are trying to involve more young people to society life, huge challenge! Then when other staff were doing something on their free time we were walking with Mia and Alexandra around Swedish capital. We had really good guide and see a lot of beautiful panoramas of Gamla Stan. In the evening we were 222:an Träffpunkten För Unga and Träffpunkt Brunnen where we were playing diferrent games and had a lot of fun with SKUNK board. TACK TILL ALLA DELTAGARE.These days named APV, means study visit, a preparation. Our host organization (SKUNK) established visit in Aland before final departure. This journey had aimed to discover the place where we would live during one year, get to know with SKUNK organization, and the people who will work with us. We were accompanied by someone from our entourage, so we were not alone and it was easy to integrate. In just two days, we discovered a lot of things, and many questions were answered. We met Rebecca, responsible of our EVS's project, who used to correspond with her for several months. We met also Mia, director and responsible of a lot of things, she greeted us in her house at Kumlinge (one of the islands) for a delicious breakfast. We participated of our fisrt meeting bringing together members of the organization. We slept in a school, a hotel and a office. We also discovered amazed environment of archipelago, its landscapes, its houses, its ubiquitous sea and its beautiful sunset.
This little, but enriching, experience enables us to prepare for this huge project. Back in our espective homeland, we could explain to our family and friends more details about our new life there. |
